“Auto sales ticked higher, and gas station sales likely ticked down on lower gasoline prices. We expect the advance estimate of November sales to remain firm. Our economists’ tracking of card transactions suggests strong November holiday spending and another increase in unit auto sales.” The day range on Brent was US$79.03 to US$80.89 in the early premarket period. The range on West Texas Intermediate was US$74.84 to US$76.20. Both benchmarks saw gains on Monday.
