and the trash bag bikini that your character wears in a really pivotal scene. Finally watching it, I was like, "Oh, this is even better than I imagined." What was the best part of acting out that moment, when she's chewing out her male colleagues?It's such a meaningful, powerful, triumphant moment. The reason I love [that scene] so much is they're being so cruel to her and so mean, and her retort is not about the way that they look.
" What I care about is them saying, "Oh, Beanie Feldstein she was really kind, she was really respectful." And that really genuinely is more important to me than people saying, she was so talented but she was rude. And the film cares more about being kind, that's why I love it so much — it's not being a pushover, it's not without having an opinion, but it is always remembering to lead with compassion.
