British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) has earned a spot on Forbes' annual list.

British Columbia Institute of Technology has been recognized as one of Canada's best employers for the second consecutive year in Forbes magazine's annual list.

On Jan. 25, Forbes, in partnership with Statistica Inc., released its list of top 300 Canadian employers in 2023, based on a survey of 12,000 Canadians working for companies and institutions with at least 500 employees. The rankings were based on the likelihood of recommending the participants' current employer and/or other employers.

BCIT, whose main campus is in Burnaby, ranked 37th out of 300 organizations from 25 different industries, landing on the list with 22 other Metro Vancouver employers. The institute is one of B.C.’s largest post-secondary institutions — employing more than 2,600 people across its five campuses. According to BCIT, the institute’s continued efforts to support employee development and building an inspiring workplace have landed them in list for being recognized as one of Canada’s top employers in education.
