BC Transit is looking to make changes to four routes and is seeking the public’s feedback, learning from recent backlash on changes to route 11 .
Route 11 had been altered since June 2022 to account for construction on Gorge Road. When construction was complete nearby residents were shocked to learn the company chose to make the changes permanent. Days after residents spoke with CHEK News, BC Transit announced it would reinstate the former route, starting on Jan. 8, 2024.Now, BC Transit is seeking the public’s feedback on potential changes to four routes in the region which could be implemented as early at April 2024.
