Provincial politicians in British Columbia are lending their support to the Terry Fox Foundation as it organizes its first in-person community runs since 2019.

Premier John Horgan and MLAs recently stood on the steps of the legislature in Victoria with Terry Fox’s brother, Darrell, in their foundation T-shirts.

The photo shoot was organized by Coquitlam–Maillardville MLA, finance minister and cancer survivor Selina Robinson, along with the Office of the Speaker and Mark Pettie, a Coquitlam resident who is part of the Mundy Park run.

• There are two Terry Fox Runs in the Tri-Cities on Sunday, starting at 10 a.m.: the Hometown Run at the Hyde Creek Recreation Centre ; and at Mundy Park .
