The BC Lions are coming back to Vancouver Island for a pre-season game against the Calgary Stampeders in Langford this spring.

The game brought thousands of people to Royal Athletic Park, and had an overall economic impact of about $16 million, according to Destination Greater Victoria.“It’s a major milestone for our owner Amar Doman and the entire organization to stage a game in Langford,” says Lions’ president Duane Vienneau in a release Thursday.
