BC Children’s Hospital Foundation launches pet therapy program for health-care workers

“It’s wonderful to see

dogs visiting the hospital and putting smiles on the faces of the health-care staff,” said Malcolm Berry, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation president and CEO.“The past two and a half years have provided challenges for everyone and the staff at BC Children’s Hospital are no exception. When our dedicated hospital staff are taking their breaks, the therapy dogs provide a healthy and peaceful environment and a much-needed distraction for care workers.

Health-care workers say they couldn’t be more excited to see furry, four-legged friends in their workplace.
