BBC Breakfast viewers broke down in tears as Dan Walker bid farewell to the show today, Tuesday May 17.
Dan, 44, admitted he hadn't slept well before his final show and had managed only "two hours sleep and 46 minutes." At the end of the show, as the crew stood around the red sofa, he sat between Sally and former co-host Louise Minchin who returned to say goodbye.Viewers became emotional as the end drew near, with one writing on Twitter: "@mrdanwalker All the best for the future Dan, thank you for keeping us entertained #BBC #BBCBreakfast @BBCBreakfast.""Hope you find what you want in your new post but please don’t stop being the caring, approachable individual that you are.
