update 1.32 is officially live on PS4, bringing Tides of War Chapter 6 to DICE's flagship World War II shooter. Players will be able to get their hands on the new Solomon Islands map today, and the patch also adds tweaks for vehicle and map glitches, a small AA buff and more. Increased the critical angle from 10 to 20 degrees to better match the visual feedback of having a good angle on an opponent. The following changes have been applied to the bolt action rifles muzzle velocity on the Recon class:We'll be performing a more substantive pass on our Weapon Balance in our next update for Assault, Medic, and Support. Thank you for all of your feedback on this topic.Spotted enemies are no longer represented as arrows on the minimap and do not show the direction .Fixed a bug that was causing the"Vehicle Buster" combat role to not unlock for some players.
In other words, fans looking for balance updates in this new patch are about to be severely disappointed. There are no nerfs for overpowered planes, team balance hasn't been touched and anti-cheat measures are seemingly nowhere in sight. Muzzle Velocity adjustments for the Ross and Type 99 are some of the most necessary changes present in these patch notes, but there's nothing to be said for other snipers that could use a buff as well.
