Breaking: The reward for information in the Barry and Honey Sherman murder case has been raised from $10 million to $35 million, according to the CBC.
Barry and Honey Sherman murder caseJonathon Sherman, one of the four Sherman children, told CBC in a statement Sunday that he is personally adding $25 million to the $10 million put up by the family in late 2018, ten months after the murders.
Barry and Honey Sherman were last seen alive in the early evening hours of Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, five years ago this week. Their strangled bodies were found 36 hours later by a realtor touring clients through their house, which was for sale. The Shermans were in a seated position in their basement swimming pool room, located in the farthest spot away from the front entrance.
In October of 2018, the Sherman children announced a $10-million reward through their then lawyer, Brian Greenspan. Greenspan is no longer representing the Shermans. At the time, Greenspan had convened a panel of people involved in the justice system who were to determine whether someone was deserving of the reward. Tips were to go directly to the Shermans private investigation team at the time. That team and the panel are no longer involved in the case.
