But the municipality didn’t own that property and couldn’t operate it as a designated site, staff wrote in an update released Friday. After talking with residents and service providers, a designated site was set up at the Correctional Ballfield on Cobequid Road in Lower Sackville. Staff said the Lower Sackville ballfield meets the requirements as a site and it’s not in use for recreational baseball in the off season. There is room for eight tents; seven are there now.
