BAFTA viewers were left stunned as some actors failed to clap as the Gogglebox cast and crew went up to accept the award for Best Reality and Constructed Factual
BAFTA viewers spotted an awkward moment at the awards ceremony on Sunday night when several A-List actors didn’t clap for Gogglebox.
Lee who normally appears with his best friend Jenny took the podium first to say a few words about the show. However, the audience didn’t laugh and instead they sat in silence for another moment, which did not go unnoticed by viewers. One of the most powerful speeches of the evening was by comedian Billy Connolly who opened up about his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
“Symptom spotters among you may notice that my left is different from my right. It is just one of these things. Parkinson’s disease. I suffer badly from the disease.”
