Bachelor in Paradise star Danielle Maltby shared that it wasn't her choice to end her relationship with fellow season eight cast member Michael Allio after a year of dating.
She concluded her note by reflecting on what she had hoped for her future with the entrepreneur.
"I would really appreciate the respect, time and space to continue to heal and grieve what I believed was forever and hope you can extend the same to Michael," Danielle added. "I truly thank you all for the kindness and support you have shown me along the way." Michael first broke the news of the pair's breakup on the Sept. 18 episode of Jason's podcast, explaining, "It's still incredibly fresh. I guess I'll just come out with it: We're not together anymore.""It's not what we planned," he added. "We both threw a lot into this relationship, and it's really awful when it doesn't work out.
