The Court Circular has recorded official royal engagements for more than 200 years.
Today, official details of the previous day's royal engagements are written by an"Information Officer" at Buckingham Palace. They are published online and in print once the wording is approved by Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family website states.held at a chapel in Windsor Castle Saturday. The service was conducted by Justin Welby, the archbishop of Canterbury.

The queen did not attend because of a prior engagement. The couple was also criticized for keeping the identities of Archie's godparents under wraps—an unorthodox move thatThe royal family marked the day by releasing two images taken by photographer Chris Allerton. Allerton also took photographs at Meghan and Harry's wedding in May 2018, including one that was used on the couple's Christmas Cards.
