B.J. Novak just turned 40. And the former co-star of"The Office" did it with ex-girlfriend Mindy Kaling by his side.
Along with Kaling, the comic actor and children's book author celebrated his new decade in style in L.A. with comedians Nathan Fielder and Bob Saget, former"Office" colleagues Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, and musician John Mayer, who performed for the crowd. In between cake and cocktails and a speech by Kaling, Novak was given a mock City of Los Angeles proclamation"signed" by mayor Eric Garcetti, declaring July 31"B.J. Novak Day.
