B.C. Transit has reached a tentative labour agreement with the 213 administrative employees in the Victoria Regional Transit System.The current agreement between B.C. Transit and MoveUP Local 378 expired March 31, 2022.
The progress made comes on the heels of B.C. Transit ratifying a three-year deal last week with Unifor Local 333, which represents 680 drivers and maintenance workers in the Victoria area.It includes a flat-rate wage lift of 25 cents an hour and a 3.24 per cent increase in the first year, a minimum increase of 5.50 per cent and a maximum of 6.75 per cent in the second year and a two to three per cent increase in the third year.
