B.C. police watchdog investigating two men found dead in Okanagan
According to the RCMP, officers attended a man’s residence the morning of July 16 as part of an ongoing investigation.
The man left home the following day, Mounties said. Family members concerned for his welfare contacted police, who searched several days before the man was found dead on July 20. The second incident occurred on July 25 in the city of Kelowna, after police attended a crash at Richter Street and Clement Avenue around 1:40 a.m.
According to the RCMP, two vehicles were towed away from the scene, and one man left the area on foot.Anyone who witnessed or has video of the crash, as well as anyone who saw the man walking between 1:40 and 7:35 a.m., is asked to contact the IIO. He is described as five-foot-nine with an average build. He was wearing long black pants, a black tank top, a black leather jacket and light blue running shoes.Is there more to this story?
