B.C.’s tenancy laws require owners to give tenants four months notice if they plan to demolish the rental.

Hinkson also wrote the arbitrator’s decision “has deficiencies, but does not rise to the level of being ‘clearly irrational’ or ’eminently not in accordance with reason’,” and he therefore could not overrule it.
