'It moved things forward for me, made me think about a lot. I hope I’ve become a better person,' Ansari says in his new Netflix special
In the first clip from his new Netflix special,since the comedian was accused of sexual misconduct in January of last year—Ansari notes that he’s been observing white people, and thinks it’s hilarious how they’re now bending over backward to be politically correct.
“You’re trying really hard to be nice to minorities in a way I’ve never seen before,” he begins. “Putting in the time, putting in the effort, getting out there—watchingThe rom-com, released last August, was a box office smash, grossing $238 million worldwide and launching the acting careers of newcomers likeIt was also warmly received by critics, earning a high Rotten Tomatoes score . Ansari, for one, can’t quite believe how high the score is, according to the special.
