Will Avengers beat Avatar and become the highest grossing movie of all time? The comic book film already breezed past Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Marvel blockbuster has become just the second movie to cross the $800 million mark domestically in the States. Endgame has drawn in $803.63m in the US after raking in $22.3m its fifth weekend in cinemas, despite dropping over 50% in viewers in each of its four weekends.Endgame needs to take in another $133 million if it wants to beat the first film past the post, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
However, Marvel have less to take in if they want to beat Avatar to become the highest grossing movie of all time.Endgame is just £103 million away from taking the title away from James Cameron film, although after five weeks in cinemas, this will be an uphill battle.
