James Cameron’s AvatarTheWayOfWater takes the 11th spot in the all-time highest-grossing films at the domestic box office passing StarWarsTheLastJedi.

Director James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water continues to make waves at the box office, as it claimed its seventh weekend in a row at the number one spot. The epic science-fiction sequel added $16.3 million this weekend, pushing its running domestic total past $620.5 million, which means that it has overtaken Star Wars: The Last Jedi to take the 11th spot on the all-time list.

Globally, the film has now made $2.11 billion and is on track to overtake another Cameron blockbuster, Titanic . This will put it in the number three spot on the all-time list globally. Cameron will still be responsible for three of the top four highest-grossing movies of all time, as he is now, but the order will change. Avengers: Endgame is currently the second-biggest film in history at the worldwide box office, behind the first Avatar .
