Gabriel Landeskog looks like he could return to the Avs lineup much sooner than expected.
Landeskog’s injury, which he suffered after collision with Stars goaltender Ben Bishop, was projected to keep the Avalanche captain out of the lineup for four to six weeks. But after missing just nine games, Landeskog may provide Colorado’s lineup with a much-needed boost sooner than expected.
The Avalanche are in the thick of the playoff race, currently clinging to the second wild-card spot in the West with five games remaining.More from Sportsnet
