Police received 22 reports of a stolen vehicle in Toronto City Centre between July 28 and Aug. 3. That’s down from 39 reported for the previous week. Reports of auto thefts across the entire city fell by 16 to 123 . There have been 4,656 vehicles reported stolen in Toronto so far this year — up 41 per cent compared to the same period in 2021.One auto theft was reported at the following location: around Armstrong Avenue and Dufferin Street on Sunday, July 31 at around 2 p.m.
One auto theft was reported at the following location: a curbside around Avenue Road and Roxborough Street West on Saturday, July 30 at about 8 p.m. A total of 29 vehicles have been reported stolen in The Annex in 2022.Two auto thefts were reported at the following locations: a curbside around Hammersmith Avenue and Queen Street East on Thursday, July 28 at around 3 p.m.; and a curbside around Glenfern Avenue and Silver Birch Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at about 7 p.m.
