Police received 42 reports of a stolen vehicle in North York between June 30 and July 6. That’s down from 50 reported for the previous week. Reports of auto thefts across the entire city fell by seven to 136 . There have been 4,070 vehicles reported stolen in Toronto so far this year — up 47 per cent compared to the same period in 2021.One auto theft was reported at the following location: a curbside near Karl Fraser Road and Leadley Lane on Sunday, July 3 at around 8 p.m.

Two auto thefts were reported at the following locations: a curbside near Hendon Avenue and Yonge Street on Saturday, July 2 at about 2 p.m.; and a curbside around Bishop Avenue and Willowdale Avenue on Tuesday, July 5 at about 8 a.m. A total of 35 vehicles have been reported stolen in Newtonbrook East in 2022.Four auto thefts were reported at the following locations: a driveway near Manadon Drive and Patricia Avenue on Thursday, June 30 at about 1 a.m.
