Samsonov made a toe save on ex-Leaf Michael Bunting from the slot as the Leafs killed off a Simon Benoit minor, and minutes later, stretched across the crease to make a tough stop on Crosby with Lyubushkin sitting in the box.There is no goaltending controversy in Toronto. All signs point to Samsonov being in net for Game 1 of the playoffs against, in all likelihood, the Florida Panthers.
Tavares, and Matthews at times, were assigned to keeping an eye on Crosby whenever he was on the ice.
