A juvenile faces burglary and other charges following an arrest by the Auburn Police Department.
According to officials, officers received reports about a car break-in near the 300 block of Bowden Drive on Oct. 23. The victim of the crime told police they saw a suspect illegally entering into a vehicle.
Shortly after, law enforcement found a 14-year-old, whom the victim positively identified as the suspect who entered the vehicle. During the investigation, police also discovered the teen entered a nearby home, stole from the residence and made an unlawful entry into a second car in the area. The 14-year-old was charged with one count of second-degree burglary and two counts of breaking and entering into a vehicle. The juvenile was arrested and taken to the Lee County Youth Development Center.
