Barr will appear before a House Appropriations subcommittee to discuss President Donald Trump’s 2020 budget request for the Department of Justice.

Attorney General William Barr will testify before lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Tuesday for the first time since Special Counsel Robert Mueller submitted his final report on the Russia investigation to the Justice Department last month.

Barr has been under scrutiny since he released a four-page summary of the investigation’s key findings on March 24. The original report submitted by Mueller is over 400-pages long. Several members of Mueller’s team told The New York Times and The Washington Post that they feel Barr did not adequately represent the key findings of their two-year investigation into Russian election interference.

But House Democrats are demanding the report be released in its entirety. Last week, the House Judiciary Committee authorized a subpoena for the full report in case Barr does not make the entire document available.
