A man with eight prior felonies has been charged with attempted murder in the stabbing Monday of another man in a busy Oakland retail district
OAKLAND — A man with eight felony convictions has been charged with attempted murder in the random stabbing Monday of another man in the Lakeshore retail area, according to court records and authorities said.
The 35-year-old victim, who was stabbed in the neck, has been released from a hospital and continues to recover. Police have said he did not know the suspect.
