“You’re watching the other team do what you wanted to do,” said Atletico’s Ollie Bassett, named the CPL Player of the Year a couple of days ago. “I’d be lying if I said we’re not a bit disappointed. It’s tough.” In the moments after the game, with some of the Atletico players on the turf, others on their knees, Forge FC celebrated with its supporters.
