A woman from Atlanta, Georgia, was reportedly left in disbelief when she returned from vacation to discover her vacant family home had been demolished.

The home was vacant at the time, per Fox 5, and Hodgson has not been left homeless by the alleged mistake. Hodgson told the AP that her neighbor confronted workers at the site, saying, “He told her to shut up and mind her own business.” “We’re still in this process of figuring out what to do,” she told the AP, noting she filed a police report. The company that reportedly demolished her home also hadn’t reached out since the incident she added to the outlet.“It’s just hard to believe someone thinks they have the right to just come and tear something up and walk away from it and didn’t come back and say ‘I’m sorry,” she told the AP. “What do I need to do to fix this? It was an accident.’ They didn’t give me nothing.
