Ella Benoit has only been playing rugby for a few years, but it has become a passion for the young athlete.. She joined CEC's rugby team in Grade 10, and has since played over the summer for the Truro Saints women's team and the Nova Scotia Keltics rugby team.It’s kind of for everyone. Not really a specific person you need to be to play it. No specific size, tall, short. It’s a very accepting community, as well. My older brother plays, so that also influenced me.
Someone who is a leader but is also willing to learn with the team. They don’t think they are higher than the whole team.I think tying Northumberland during our home game. In my three years of playing we’ve never tied or beat them. That was a really exciting moment for everyone.A lot of my friends say that after the games I look really scary. I feel like I’d be a gorilla.
