2023's first six months average temperatures were above the 30-year normal, however
While the rest of Earth breaks records for warm weather, our little spot on the planet continues to chug right along with seasonal temperatures. However, it should be noted that in the first half of 2023, all six month's average temperatures were above the 30-year normal.
The Sault area typically measures daytime highs near 24°C each day in early July, with overnight lows near 11°C - pretty well a carbon copy of what we will see this coming weekend. Friday will be mostly sunny, with temperatures climbing to 24°C. This evening, a few clouds move into the region as overnight lows fall to near 12°C.
Saturday brings a mix of sun and cloud, leaning towards more of the sunshine in the afternoon as the daytime highs reach 25°C. There is a slight risk of a shower later in the day. Mostly sunny skies return on Sunday, with temperatures remaining in the mid-20s. Warmer weather and a chance of showers arrive on Monday.
