, the Ocho began in 2017 as a way to change up the summer's programming list. Now with no professional sports to watch in the foreseeable future, ESPN decided to bring the channel back. This Sunday, the Ocho will replace the regular programming on ESPN2 and show 24 hours straight of some of the wildest sports imaginable.World Axe Throwing League: 2019 World Championships
Starting at 2 a.m. ET, the Ocho will feature the 2019 World Championship of the World Axe Throwing League. According to its website, the league began after a number of axe-throwing facilities popped up across the U.S. and Canada. The league has over 100 members in 17 countries and more than 150 cities. An axe-throwing match consists of two players with 10 throws each, switching sides after five throws.
