“It’s hard to know what she was doing at all. We never heard from her… We never felt she was willing to engage with the community to make the work,” Monaghan says.

Nor has she met meaningfully with the autism coalition, the group said.
Irwin Elman, who was the Ontario Child Advocate from 2008 to 2019, calls Fullerton “the latest in a growing line of failed ministers the government has placed to serve the children of our province.” As far as Pasma is concerned, Fullerton should not be proud of her record. “The policies she has promoted in that file have continued to put these incredibly vulnerable people into even more precarious or worse situations,” Pasma says.
