As the Arrowverse prepares to conclude, Arrow actor Stephen Amell addresses a potential The Flash season 9 appearance. Production is currently underway for The Flash's final season, and is set to conclude in March 2023. A spin-off of Arrow, The Flash debuted on the CW in 2014 and stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who develops superspeed and uses it to fight other superhumans who use their power for evil.

Amell could return as Oliver Queen in a multitude of ways, considering his powers came from the Spectre, which he combined with the Book of Destiny, giving up his own life in return for the multiverse's survival. In what appeared to be an alternate dimension, Arrow's final moments reunited him with Felicity , meaning he is not necessarily gone for good.
As the Arrowverse began with Arrow, it would make for a meaningful and satisfying conclusion to also end with Amell himself returning to the fold for one final time. It's clear the star is on-board with the idea, previously suggesting an entire limited series dedicated to Oliver Queen and the characters of Arrow as a potential revival.
