Durham police officers arrested a man in connection with a stolen vehicle case. The passenger was released, but the driver was charged with possession of stolen property.
Durham police officers were patrolling near Mary Street and Hillcroft Street around 7:45 p.m. March 7 when their automatic licence plate reader alerted them about the stolen ride . Both the driver, an Oshawa man, and a passenger, a female, were arrested. The passenger was released unconditionally but Rhain Duncan , 21, of Oshawa was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
