Houston police are searching for James Gerald Martin III, 37, because he may be connected to an ongoing murder investigation.Kathy Vu, 23, is accused of purchasing several suspicious items at HEB, such as towels, hydrogen peroxide and bleach, the day of the killings, and closing a garage door to hide evidence, according to court records.
Detectives canvassed the neighborhoods around the area after Martin's body was found in his trunk, and eventually found video showing Martin meeting with others at an apartment complex in the 2700 block of Minimax Drive, according to the affidavit. Shortly after video placed Martin at the complex, another video showed someone in Martin’s Toyota Prius back out of a garage.
Vu, in a Feb. 3 interview, allegedly told police she’d been dating one of the men suspected in the fatal shootings and that he and the other man were both at the complex Jan. 26, according to records. Vu showed police her boyfriend had asked to use her garage.
