An Arizona woman was found dead at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah after she went out for a hike and never returned, officials say.
Jeanne Roblez Howell, 64, was reported missing on Friday after she didn’t come back from her 2 p.m. hike on the Fairyland Loop trail,NPS, the Garfield County Sheriff’s office and the Utah Department of Public Safety searched the area and found the Sedona native around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in Campbell Canyon — a mile east of the Fairyland Loop.
Bryce Canyon National Park, which celebrated its 100th birthday this year, is located roughly four hours northeast of Las Vegas.
