Kelly had the deep ball working, as he finished with 358 yards passing and four touchdowns on just 18 completions, and the offence put together six plays of at least 20 yards. He also added 29 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground. Daniels caught a 40-yard touchdown, while Polk added a 70-yard touchdown as the Argos scored two touchdowns in a three-play sequence in the second quarter.
Benjie Franklin intercepted another pass for a long Argonauts touchdown on the next drive to push the lead over 20 late in the game.
