Apple has finally updated its 24-inch iMac with the company's brand-new M3 chip, promising significant performance gains.
, offers a 4.5K Resolution, and is available in seven different colors, making it ideal for both work and play.
The new 24-inch M3-powered iMac brings a huge leap in performance which is up to two times faster than the prior M1 generation of iMacs, up to two and a half times faster for those upgrading from the 27-inch Intel-based iMacs, and up to four times faster than the most powerful 21.5-inch models. The update retains the M1 iMac’s familiar design and 4.5K resolution retina display.
According to the company, productivity apps will run anywhere from 30 to 50-percent faster and professional content creating apps for photo and video will run two to three times faster than before. “We’re excited to give iMac a big boost in performance with the M3 chip,” says John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. “Millions of users absolutely love iMac for its stunning design and expansive 24-inch, 4.5K Retina display that’s the perfect size to spread out with all their favorite apps and get things done.
