In an in-depth interview with GQ, Apple CEO TimCook managed to talk in length about augmentedreality without mentioning Apple's own rumored high-tech headset.
Besides maintaining Apple’s position as one of the world’s leading tech firms, the company’s CEO, Tim Cook, is also highly accomplished at never giving anything away.
His responses to GQ’s questions do, however, offer some insight into how the company is approaching the technology, and why Cook thinks it’s important. Cook even goes so far as to claim that an AR environment “may be even better than just the real world — to overlay the virtual world on top of it might be an even better world.”
