An app called Smart Snout is helping to reunite missing dogs with their owners by using technology that can identify a pet by its nose alone.The creators of the app say this could be a better way of finding stolen dogs than relying on the compulsory microchips that all dogs have in the UK, as thieves often cut out the chips before selling them on.
