Conservative critics of the New York congresswoman brushed off her criticisms of the federal government's coronavirus response, noting instead she made a margarita while urging Americans to push fellow lawmakers into action.
"I mean honestly, have you ever had a point in your life where the federal government did too much for you? Where they gave you too much money? Never happened to me, I've never seen that in my life," Ocasio-Cortez continued, as she could be seen pouring what appears to be a bottle of tequila and margarita mixer into a cup.
Ocasio-Cortez echoed many platform points of fellow progressive and close congressional ally, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, with her reiterating:"Health care is a human right, you shouldn't get better health care because you have a higher position in work. Everyone should be able to have dignified access to health care.
