Brian Hartline, Parker Fleming and eight Ohio State players met with the media Wednesday, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba said anything less than winning a title is unacceptable.
Being ranked No. 2 in the preseason Associated Press poll, Ohio State players know all too well the massive expectations placed on the Buckeyes this season.
Star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is fully embracing those lofty goals and has declared this season national championship or bust for Ohio State. "Anything less than that is unacceptable," Smith-Njigba said of OSU's dreams of hoisting college football's grandest prize. Smith-Njigba was one of seven wideouts to speak with reporters Wednesday along with Marvin Harrison Jr., Jayden Ballard, Julian Fleming, Kamryn Babb, Emeka Egbuka and Xavier Johnson. Wide receivers coach Brian Hartline also held court with the media along with special teams coach Parker Fleming and long snapper Bradley Robinson.
Babb addressed suffering another injury setback and how he plans to manage it, while Johnson revealed he had earned a scholarship from Ohio State last year. You can hear more in the videos above and below of what all 10 players and coaches who met with the media Wednesday had to say.
