ANTIOCH — State cannabis control workers joined city code-enforcement staff in warrant service searches at nine homes Wednesday, recovering cash, guns and more than $3 million worth of flowers and plants, authorities said.
California Department of Cannabis Control staff shared images Thursday, September 8, 2022 of marijuana plants seized and improperly wired electrical connections cited during one of nine search warrants served at homes Wednesday in Antioch, Calif. “California is committed to aggressively combating the illegal cannabis market by pursuing policy and enforcement actions such as these – actions that protect our power grid, housing stock, and public health and safety; safeguard the environment; and support licensed operators,” Elliott said in part.
