The Chicago Blackhawks late Thursday traded forward Max Domi to the Dallas Stars for a second-round draft pick.
“Not just those two guys, but all the guys we’ve traded away. It’s emotional for everyone. It’s a business and we knew this week was coming, so to speak. This summer, I would say.”
The Hawks have 14 picks in the first two rounds of next three drafts, including six first-rounders if certain conditions are met. Domi, who turned 28 on Thursday, had 18 goals and 31 assists in 60 games with the Hawks this season, including three goals and two assists in two games against the Stars.
