Coats, boots and other winter items will be collected until Nov. 7 at Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board schools.

THUNDER BAY – The Coats for Kids outerwear drive has collected thousands of winter coats for families in Thunder Bay during the last 18 years.

The union takes the lead on the annual coat drive campaign with the support of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board and Iron Range Bus Lines and together they are putting out a call for gently used winter gear from coats and snow pants to mitts, hats and boots. Adult coats are also welcome donations and the coats will be given out no questions asked to anyone who would like one.
