Nodding to the white ball gown that her character — a clumsy teen who finds out she’s royalty — wore in the movie, when she’s finally introduced as a princess, the actor fashioned blue and white pillows into a strapless dress that mimicked her costume’s original silhouette. To take it to the next level, she even added the sunglasses and headphones that she sports on the film’s iconic movie poster.
“A Queen is never late; everyone else is simply early,” Anne wrote in the image’s caption, quoting Julie Andrews’s famous line from the film. As a final touch, the star stood in front of two paintings featuring blue butterfly wings, making it appear as though she herself had wings.
