ANAHEIM — The Angels are still waiting for Mike Trout to return, and Trout is still hopeful he can return in time to play in the All-Star Game.

Trout came out of Tuesday’s game against the Houston Astros and has been out of the starting lineup ever since, although each day Manager Phil Nevin said there was hope for him to play.“He’s improving,” Frostad said. “We’re almost at that point where he’s ready to start a game. We just keep doing treatments on him every day and we’re getting closer and closer.”

“We’re just taking it day by day right now,” Frostad said. “He’s improving and the plan is to get him back in there as soon as we can.”Shortstop Andrew Velazquez was a part of the reveal of Major League Baseball’s All-Star House in the Hollywood Hills on Friday. “It’s a sick venue and setup,” Velazquez said. “I think they are trying to touch on off-the-field, the newer generation of fans baseball, with TikTok and reels.”
