He recalled having to tell the cast and crew of the film that he had to leave and return to England, saying he found their ‘generosity’ during his grief ‘deeply moving’. He clarified that he would have left the set to be with his mother no matter what, but ‘I was able to go with such love and support from a community of people on this film.’Lynn, with whom Andrew had an ‘incredible relationship’, had encouraged Andrew to resume filming once she had died, but he admits it was ‘really, really hard’.
